Her interest in music began at an early age as did her love for God. She began singing almost as soon as she began talking! Her parents faithfully took her to church and by the age of three she was singing for people. She gave her heart to the Lord as a child and has remained active in the work of the Lord since.
As she grew older and moved into her late teens she began to hear from others that God had blessed her with a special talent. She felt very strongly that she could share His love with others using this musical gift. She was tutored in music during her high school years by a wonderfully talented choir director for whom Uneita was later privileged to do solo work. From then until now she has cherished every opportunity that the Lord has allowed her to use her talents. Some of these opportunities include singing and ministering at area churches, local, state & national conventions, Christian singing events as well as local theater productions.
Uneita's life has had its share of heartaches and grief, both physical and emotional. Reeling from a bout with cancer, marital difficulties, and other family stresses she knows that it is only because of God's boundless mercy and His restorative grace that she has continued to be a vessel through which she is able to share His light in a world that needs light. She has said, "It is a privilege for me to give back to Him for He has truly blessed me."
