Uneita has had many opportunities for God to touch lives through her music and speaking ministry.  She is not only one of the featured soloists at Roanoke's First Baptist Church, but she has sung at many churches, primarily on the East Coast. She has also made musical presentations at national business, civic and educational conventions and she has sung the National Anthem at many sporting events.  Uneita welcomes the opportunity to be an instrument to touch the lives of others whatever the venue.

She also travels as an emmisary for the Rescue Mission of Roanoke, where she is the Assistant to the Director, Joy Sylvester-Johnson.  Among her primary duties at the "Mission" is to oversee the myriad of special projects which, of late, has primarily been the construction of the new $4+ million dollar women and children shelter.  Currently they are outfitting that facility so that it may begin housing women in the substance abuse recovery program in a few months.

"God..., give me the opportunity to touch the lives of others," has been her desire.  He has graciously allowed Uneita to sing in local musicals at the Mill MountainTheater in the Center in the Square such as "Soup, Soap, and Salvation."   She has also been active in the SW Virginia Opera company where she has sung in "The Magic Flute" and "Yeomen of the Guard"
